Senior Manager Business Development Remarketing (m/f/x)

Your new role

  • You will be responsible for the business unit’s business development agenda and will contribute directly to the achievement of the business unit’s objectives by managing the business unit’s development roadmap and investment proposals, including the budget
  • You will act as a subject matter expert with comprehensive process knowledge for the business unit and translate business requirements into clear specifications, particularly in the areas of remarketing and pricing for used cars
  • You act as the primary point of contact for IT project managers/PMO regarding scoping, quarterly planning and the processing of development requests, assessing development needs, effort/costs and the sequence of deliveries in collaboration with SIPO/IT
  • You will manage the pre-allocated budgets at departmental level and, in collaboration with the Head of Department, ensure expenditure discipline and value realisation
  • You will coordinate with the business unit’s senior management, marketing and operations regarding priorities and trade-offs, and prepare decisions for management meetings

Your strenghts

  • You have experience in business development, product or process management within relevant areas of the automotive and financial services sectors, enabling you to drive the company’s growth
  • You bring extensive process expertise in remarketing and the ability to incorporate business objectives into implementation plans in collaboration with IT
  • You have experience with pricing mechanisms (e.g. vehicle valuation methods, market depreciation patterns and pricing behaviour at auctions/in retail across various channels)
  • You have a strong financial acumen for profit and loss levers as well as budget management
  • You coordinate stakeholders from business unit management, IT-PM/PMO and marketing/operations, and communicate and present fluently in German and English
